What IDM is
Intellisol Dispatch Matrix (IDM) is a delivery logistics platform run by Intellisol Group Ltd. Businesses connect to it to have items moved: marketplaces, restaurant platforms, shops, enterprises and delivery companies. IDM is not a shop or a marketplace. A business owns the order; IDM owns the movement. IDM keeps only the business's own order reference, never the basket, the price of the goods or the buyer's account.

Who is involved

What IDM does
- Knows where. It resolves every pin to an approved area of the map, so a delivery is never sent to a place nobody serves. See Places and coverage.
- Prices from verified road distance. It measures the real road distance with an approved routing service and applies the delivery company's current rate card. The confirmed price is frozen so it can always be explained later. See How the delivery fee is calculated.
- Finds a rider. It offers each delivery to suitable, nearby riders of an eligible delivery company. Exactly one rider wins.
- Follows the delivery. Pickup handover, travel, arrival and receipt are each confirmed by the right person, in order.
- Keeps working when things go wrong. A rider can hand a delivery to a colleague mid-route (relay); a stuck delivery is recovered by the delivery company or Intellisol; nothing is left without a path forward.
- Keeps the record. Delivery events, price records and audit records are never edited or deleted. A correction is a new record.
The seven promises
IDM makes these commitments to every business connected to it:
- Authoritative state. The status you read is the status IDM holds at that moment.
- Authoritative price. Every fee is calculated by IDM's server and frozen on confirmation.
- Exactly once. Double taps, retries and network replays never create a second delivery, assignment or completion.
- Isolation. No business can see or reach another's records, delivery companies, riders or prices.
- History is never rewritten. Events, price records and audit records are append-only.
- No stranded delivery. Every optimisation falls back to normal dispatch. A parcel always has a path forward.
- Commerce never blocks movement. An unpaid fee can stop a company taking new work. It can never stop a parcel already in a rider's hands.
