Delivery jobs
Delivery jobs has four tabs: Unassigned, At risk, Active and Closed. Each row shows the reference, status, Pickup → drop-off, vehicle, rider, delivery fee, when it was created and its service level. Bulk deliveries carry a Bulk tag.
A job's page
Open a job to see:
- the Delivery fee and the verified road distance,
- Pickup and Drop-off with landmark and address,
- Sender and Recipient (contact details hidden until you tap Show contact details, which works only while a rider is on the delivery; This view is recorded.),
- the sender's Note and item image,
- Delivery events: the append-only history, in server time (GMT),
- Assignment: who holds it and since when,
- Pricing snapshot: the pricing version and when the price was frozen,
- Your earning line: written when the delivery is completed.
If the job changes while you look at it, the page reloads and says This job changed. The page shows its latest state.
Assign a rider
- Tap Assign rider (or Assign on the dashboard).
- Under Available riders, choose a rider. Only riders of your company who are online and free appear.
- Tap Send offer to [name].
The job is assigned only when the rider accepts, and the offer closes at the time the server sets. You cannot assign a rider without their acceptance. If they decline or the offer expires, choose another rider or let IDM's dispatch find one.
Give a job back
Before pickup you can give a job back to dispatch: tap Cancel job, choose a Reason, then Cancel job. Your company and its riders are excluded from this delivery for good, and it returns to dispatch for another company. After pickup you cannot: the rider holds the item; raise an exception instead.
Raise an exception
When a job cannot continue normally, tap Raise exception, choose the Reason from the list and add an optional note. The job moves to exception and Intellisol operations take it from there. The job shows Delivery exception · recovery pending: the rider keeps the item and the original delivery facts never change.
