Carry a delivery

The active delivery fills Home. There is always one main button, and its label says exactly what happens next.

Step by step

  1. Navigate to pickup opens your phone's maps app with the pickup point IDM holds. Coordinates are never shown as numbers, and the app never takes a location from a link.
  2. At the pickup, tap I have arrived at pickup. Contact the sender with the call action if your company allows it.
  3. The sender hands you the item and confirms on their phone. Only then does the app show Item received and Start delivery. You cannot confirm the handover yourself.
  4. Tap Start delivery, then Navigate to recipient.
  5. At the drop-off, tap I have arrived.
  6. The recipient checks the item and confirms receipt on their phone.
  7. When you see Recipient confirmed receipt., tap Complete delivery.

The delivery moves to Deliveries and its earning appears in Earnings.

Tapping twice is safe

Every button sends the step together with the state the app expects. If you tap I have arrived twice on a weak signal, IDM records one arrival. If IDM's state has moved on (for example the sender already confirmed), the app refreshes instead of retrying.

Things you can always do on an active delivery

Even if your company is paused for new work, you can still navigate, arrive, wait for handover, travel, complete, collect cash and hand over to a colleague. Commerce never strands a parcel.
