Go online and take offers
Go online
On Home, tap Go online. Your status shows Online. While you carry a delivery it shows On a delivery. Tap Go offline when you stop working: you will receive no new offers, but you keep everything needed to finish a delivery you already hold.
With nothing to do, Home says No offers right now. Stay online to receive them.
When an offer arrives
You hear an alert and see New delivery offer at the top of Home, even if the app was in the background (Delivery [reference] is waiting for you. Respond before the offer expires.). It shows:
- the pickup and drop-off areas,
- the vehicle needed,
- the distance band,
- a countdown in seconds (15 seconds by default; your company can set it within platform limits).
Tap Accept or Decline.
Accept
If you are first, the delivery is yours and the app moves to Navigate to pickup. See Carry a delivery.
You hold at most one open offer at a time.
Why an offer disappears
- Another rider accepted first. Offers can go to several riders; exactly one wins. The app simply returns to waiting. There is no error to dismiss.
- The countdown ran out. Expiry is decided by IDM's clock, not your phone's. A late tap is refused even if your screen still showed a second left.
- Your company stopped taking new work (for example new deliveries are paused for an unpaid platform fee). You keep any delivery you already hold.
Declining or letting an offer expire is fine: that delivery will not be offered to you again, and IDM looks for another rider.
Who gets offers
IDM offers a delivery to riders of an eligible delivery company who are online, verified, free, close to the pickup, and have a suitable vehicle. How riders are ranked is not shown to anyone.
